My favourite hot beverage at the moment is Chai, the sweet and spicy milky brew reminds me of Christmas with its rich aromatic spices. Its exotic scent feels comforting and warms me up to the core. After using the coffee scrub last week I was inspired to make my own sugar scrub using none other than my favourite tea. It’s really simple to make and the ingredients are also good for your skin. Let’s get started!
- 1 chai tea bag
- ¼ cup sugar
- ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp honey
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
- Mix all the ingredients in a small bowl until well combined.
- Apply this scrub on the parts of your body you’d like to exfoliate & moisturize.
- Massage it on in circular motions then let it sit on your skin for a minute or so then rinse off completely.
- Store the remaining scrub in a tightly sealed container for later use.
Note: I should also mention if you accidentally eat some, it tastes pretty darn good!
