My Second Treatment with the PicoWay Resolve Laser

Hello friends, it is time to give you an update on the progress of my second Pico Way Resolve session. First off I was overwhelmed by the amazing feedback I got from my first treatment so I couldnt wait to share with you my skins advancement and results. As most of you may know collagen and elastin are the main building blocks of the skin, giving it its strength to bounce back. The lead-up

A few weeks ago I made my second booking at the Skin Revive Clinic in Wanneroo as it was recommended that I have the treatments four weeks apart. When I arrived at the clinic I was super excited and didn’t feel nervous at all as I knew what to expect from my last session. There were a few things I brought to prep for my appointment the second time round. I purchased a broad spectrum sunscreen with SPF 50+ and a soothing Aloe Vera gel for cooling my skin after the procedure. I also packed a headband and cleanising mitt to remove the topical anesthetic (numbing cream) which gets applied to the face 20 minutes prior to the treatment.

During the procedure

A typical session takes about half an hour. Dr. Romi Ahluwalia was an absolute gem, her knowledge, expertise and professionalism made me feel at total ease. She first checked my skins progress and gave me a run down on what to expect during the procedure. Even though the second treatment was a little stronger, it did not hurt at all. There was no discomfort and no downtime, I could literally get on with my day as if nothing had even happened. After my first treatment (blog linked here) there was a little bit of facial redness which subsided in a few hours. The second time round I thought surely immediatley after the procedure I would see some redness, but I was not expecting to look in the mirror and see a healthy rosy glow.

The results

Looking back at my before pictures, I am blown away by the noticeable difference it has made to my skin. The laser treatment has reduced my acne scarring, wrinkles and hyperpigmentation, making my pores appear smaller, and complexion looking radiant. I have not felt the need to wear as much makeup lately as my skin stays clearer, smoother and glowing from within.
