Green Tea with Envy
Somedays I just want to use natural ingredients on my skin.
This toner will dry up excess oil, reduces inflammation, and bacterial growth in acne-prone skin.
Ingredients
- 1 bag Green Tea
- 1 tsp Sodium bicarbonate (optional)
- 1 Lemon
Start by boiling your kettle and making your tea.
Brew it for about 5 minutes.
Squeeze the juice of 1 small lemon.
Add your bicarb soda and watch it fizz.
Then you’re left with something looking like this.
I popped it in the fridge for 5 minutes then once it had cooled down completely it was ready to use.
Application
- Wash your face and pat dry with a towel.
- Apply the toner with a cotton pad.
- Some people like to rinse off with water after a few minutes, it’s completely optional.
If you’re having issues with breakouts, you could add a few tea tree oil drops in this mix. This will last up to 2 weeks in the fridge.
