Parsley is not only used to garnish plates in restaurants, this medicinal herb has many healing properties, the benefits are numerous however my favorite way to use it is by pouring boiling water over a handful of chopped leaves. This cleansing tea is high in antioxidant, rich in minerals and vitamins A and C. Some of the therapeutic benefits to drinking this tea include:
- Clearing up blemishes and other skin problems.
- Reducing bloating, and water retention.
- Eliminating bad breath.
- Rich in Iron.
- Cleanses and purifies the blood.
- Helps lower blood pressure.
And much more.
Making Parsley Tea
All you need is one cup of fresh parsley and a teapot, I like to add some mint, honey, and lemon to enhance the flavor however that is completely optional. Add boiled water and allow the tea to steep for 5 to 10 minutes then serve. Enjoy!

Definitely trying this! Hmmm, I like chamomile with mint (but more so as an iced tea) and blueberry for hot. Does blueberry count as herbal?
Haha if you add some parsley with your blueberries it will become a herbal tea 🙂
I didn’t know know what else was in the blueberry tea so I checked the ingredients on the box and it has hibiscus and some other stuff so I suppose it is an herbal tea. Parsley is much more herbal-y!! I’m looking forward to trying it out. I don’t know why but I feel like I can taste what it will taste like and I think I’m going to love it especially because I’m a big tea person. Thanks for the idea
