My Autumn Skincare Routine | Weleda Evening Primrose

We are almost nearing the end of Autumn here in Australia and for the last few weeks I have switched up and customised my skincare routine to suit the changing seasons and target different skin concerns. I have been trying out a few products by Weleda, an Australian skincare brand which I first heard of at a bloggers event that I attended last year. They offer exquisite all natural and organic products, that are ethically, socially and environmentally responsible. Their extensive range is free from synthetic preservatives, fragrances and chemicals and I can guarantee they have a treatment to suit any need and skin concern you may have.

Evening Primrose Revitalising

I have mainly been drawn to their Evening Primrose range which is specially designed for the needs of mature skin. As I’m now noticing a few fine lines and the odd dryness here and there, I have needed to step up my anti-aging game and change a few things about my lifestyle and the products that I have been using.

The precious active blends in our Evening Primrose Ranges help stimulate the natural defence system and restorative processes of mature skin. This new range contains organic evening primrose oil to strengthen the skin structure, increase resistibility and elasticity of the skin and allow your skin to reveal it‘s natural radiance.

One-Step Cleanser & Toner

I use this multitasking 2-in-1 product to gently break down and remove makeup and excess oil, and to reset the natural PH levels of my skin. It has a lovely mild, fresh citrus scent from natural essential oils and is ideal for normal and combination skin. It helps reduce the appearance of pores and leaves my skin feeling clean and fresh, ready for my serum.

Deep cleanses the skin of impurities and make-up with natural olive oil, while vitalising the skin with extracts of iris root and witch hazel. After cleansing and toning the skin feels soft and pleasant and is easily able to absorb and benefit from subsequent skin care products.

Directions: Shake the bottle. Apply the lotion in the morning and evening, using a slightly moistened cotton wool pad. Smooth over face, neck and decolletage. Repeat until the cotton pads look clean.

Evening Primrose Age Revitalising Concentrate

I always apply the age revitalising concentrate before my day or night moisturiser. It absorbs fairly quickly and feels light and not tacky on the skin. This powerful anti-ager reactivates cell renewal and increases the skin’s elasticity and resistibility. I believe it has helped smooth my fine lines and wrinkles and my skin feels plumped, firmer and replenished.

Over time our skin ages and naturally loses its elasticity. Evening Primrose Age Revitalising Concentrate perfectly meets your skin’s increasing need for firming and revitalisation.
