I love making my own beauty scrubs but occasionally I use store bought ones out of convenience. I have to admit, I was purely drawn to this product because according to Garnier, Charcoal is a ‘dirt magnet’ which sounds pretty bad ass if you ask me. The three hero ingredients in this are:
- Charcoal – Absorbs oil and excess sebum.
- Salicylic Acid – Helps to eliminate blemishes, and reduce long-term scarring.
- Micro Beads – Helps deeply cleanse the skin.
The packaging for this product is gender neutral, this product is perfect for women and men with oily/acne prone skin.
The consistency is a thick gel with charcoal and micro beads.
The feel is quite gentle on the skin, It’s foaming scrub texture isn’t harsh at all.
The scent is very pleasant, a little manly but not too overpowering.
The results are great, don’t expect instant gratification, this is not a one night magic scrub but you will notice the reduced appearance of blackheads and spots after a week.
The price: $11.99 AUD
Note: Apply to damp face, massage gently on areas prone to imperfections. Do not use this scrub on or near your eye contour area.

Thanks for sharing 🙂
You’re very welcome 🙂
Hmm, I figured it would be totally black for some reason. Sounds like a great scrub though!
It’s quite good, my favourite so far ☺
I think that’s because MAC’s Charcoal scrub IS black. Haha. I definitely was with you in this thought process.
I had no idea… thanks ☺
