I invited my parents over for a cuppa yesterday afternoon and I asked them to each pick a flavour they wanted to try. Mum picked Cranberry and Pomegranate and dad picked Australian Afternoon.
Cranberry and Pomegranate
What a delight to tickle your taste buds with this Fruit Flavoured Infusion. I served it hot by steeping the teabags for 3 minutes. However drinking it cold tastes amazing as well especially in summer. Steep 2 teabags in 3 cups of boiling water for 3 minutes then take them out and leave it to cool down. Add 1 cup of soda water and ice, squeeze a slice of lemon and add a sprig of mint. If you want to get really fancy add some cut up fruits such as strawberries and grapes, whatever your heart desires.
Australian Afternoon
This brisk and full-bodied blend is a slightly smoky Russian Caravan with a full-bodied Irish Breakfast added with the light Ceylon Orange Pekoe. The taste takes me back to a billy tea I shared over a campfire in Melbourne a few years back.
Serving suggestions – with milk, but you can also drink it black or with lemon. Steep in the pot for 3 minutes.
Thank you so much for stopping by xoxo

What lovely pictures! I didn’t know there was such a thing as Australian breakfast tea – makes me curious about whatever billy tea is! Beautiful fine bone china by the way!
Thank you so much! I have a slight obsession with Royal Albert fine china 🙂 Billy tea is a type of strong bush tea which is brewed in a tin can (known as billy can) over a campfire. It is quite the experience!
Fine china is the best and totally makes the tea drinking experience! Billy tea sounds like it will put hair on your chest 🙂
Haha yes ?
Although I do not have the luxury of such fine porcelain, the serving suggestion reminds me of why English tea is the best thing with crumpets! 🙂
Greetings from Switzerland!
