We have yet another beauty post for you this week and I thought I’d take you guys through my new makeup and show you what has been floating around my vanity. First off, I hate to admit that when it comes to foundation, I am a bit of a snob. I normally tend to gravitate toward the higher end products however lately I have been impressed with various formulations and price points. Now on good skin days, I don’t wear foundation but whenever my complexion needs an extra boost of cover I opt for the L’Oréal Infallible range.
Let me narrow down my three new favourite beauty finds. 1 Prep: Infallible Magic Essence Drops. 2 Cover: Infallible 24HR Fresh Wear Foundation. 3 Set: Infallible Magic Loose Powder.
The Infaillible Magic Essence Drops make a really great smooth base for makeup. It glides on easily and amps up the hydration, helping to create a flawless makeup application. I find that it brightens my dark under eye circles and leaves my foundation looking fresh for longer.
The Infaillible 24HR Fresh Wear Foundation is an absolute dream. It has a lightweight breathable texture, providing buildable coverage with the added benefit of Hyaluronic fresh complex. I love that it is so easy to apply and gives just the right amount of radiant glow. It is flawless, long lasting and feels fresh from day to night.
Available in 10 shades: Ivory 020, Vanilla 120, True Beige 130, Golden Beige 140, Rose Beige 145, Radiant Beige 150, Sand 220, Golden Amber 290, Copper 340, Deep Amber 375. How to use: Apply directly to a clean face using either a foundation brush, beauty sponge or your fingers. To achieve the best results, begin the application in the middle of the face working outwards.
Now it’s time to set my foundation with the Infaillible Magic Loose Powder. Once dusted over the skin this finely milled transparent setting powder has a mattifying finish that controls the dreaded T-zone shine. It manages to blur my pores, smooth fine lines and keep my foundation in place.
Prices in AUD: L’Oréal Paris Infaillible Magic Essence Drops | $31.95 – L’Oréal Paris Infaillible 24HR Fresh Wear Foundation | $31.95 – L’Oréal Paris Infaillible Magic Loose Powder | $24.95
Has anyone else tried this primer/foundation/setting powder combo? What type of foundation do you use?

I havent seen these products except maybe the foundation instore but I’m loving that loads of drugstore brands are also coming out with lots of “drops” for different purposes. So neat!
Anyway the foundation could use more shades in the range but everything else looks pretty good. If only they were CF I’d buy!
I wish all beauty brands were cruelty free.
I wish the same. One day, though. It seems were heading there.
